If you want to make the official extraMedium CD:
The easiest way is to download this big zip file with the wave files and artwork.
Extract this file (for instance like this). Open the .wav files in the program you burn audio CDs with, for instance Nero (choose "No pause between tracks"), and burn the cd. Print out the artwork, for instance from within Microsoft Paint, cut the prints out, three millimetres from the edges, and put it in an empty cd case.
If you have a lightscribe CD driver download Surething CD Labeler SE (or a deluxe version from the Surething website) and use it to print the label on a lightscribe CD.
A harder way is to separately download the FLACs below, the artwork (front and back) and if you have a lightscribe CD driver the lightscribe label file. Then burn the FLACs to cd with for instance burrrn and print the artwork and maybe lightscribe label as described above.
(Or get the FLAC plugin for Nero, or use FLAC frontend that comes with the FLAC for Windows installer (see below) to convert the FLACs to waves which you can then burn in the program you burn audio CDs with).
If you want to play extraMedium on your computer:
You can use the player above.
Or download this zip with MP3s.
Or download the seperate audio files below.
The best of those is FLAC
FLAC is short for Free Lossless Audio Codec, which means that the files are of the same quality as a CD but smaller.
If you want to play FLAC in your Winamp, download "FLAC for Windows with installer" here.
How to use it with other players is explained over here.
The easiest however is to use the foobar2000 player which can play FLAC by itself.
Download the Front and Back artwork JPEG pictures to keep with the audio files, and maybe this thumbnail picture.
You can mail Martijn to order the CD for €10,- or ask it for your birthday.
This is where Medium members are active now:
Rob in Qrio (Myspace).
Arent in Room32 (Myspace).
Lesley in can_of_be (My space).
Martijn as biggiesmartypants on his page (and myspace) (first 'official' cd to be released shortly).
Grechko's Doll, kind of the successor to Medium, unfortunately no longer is either.
